Since opening in November of 2024 we have built a great crew of dining room and kitchen staff who are all committed to excellence, embracing opportunities to grow together and as individuals, and are genuinely supportive of their fellow teammates. Dining Room Positions
Service & Event Coordinator (SEC)
Our Service & Event Coordinator is responsible for all service and operational elements of our day to day operation. They must lead by example and do what it takes to ensure an exceptional guest experience. They recognize the importance of systems, continually improving staff efficiency and productivity, as well as making staff training and development a priority. In their role as Event Coordinator, they work closely with guests to plan memorable events with us, create and plan house hosted events to further promote the mission of Gray Willow as a gathering place, and coordinate efforts to ensure both guest and house hosted events are flawlessly executed. Being fluent in current social media, MSWord, MSExcel, and contact management is a must as the SEC uses these methods to assist in informing our customers, generating new visitors, and growing our business.
Lead Mixologist / Bar Manager
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about mixology, has extensive spirit knowledge, and experience creating and preparing unique cocktails. Our Lead Mixologist also functions as the Bar Manager by ensuring our systems and procedures are followed consistently by the entire team of bartenders, managing inventory of all beverages, and working closely with the Service and Event Coordinator to provide exceptional service to our guests.
Service Coordinator
This dining room management position is a great opportunity for someone with restaurant experience to hone their craft by leading the service staff to excellence while creating positive experiences for our guests. Primary duties would include seating guests, managing reservations, assisting servers with guest service needs, and managing takeout business. Some experience in the restaurant business is required. A strong work ethic, genuine desire to make meaningful memories for our guests, and a commitment to continual improvement are also a must.
Bartender
A passion for mixology along with a familiarity with a variety of spirits, basic cocktail recipes, proper drink preparation methods, and creative cocktail creation. An understanding of craft brewing and beer styles is helpful. Must also demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, be engaging and welcoming, and have ability to manage competing demands with grace.
Server
A great opportunity for those energetic individuals who are passionate about sharing their enthusiasm for Gray Willow with our guests. If you have a genuine way with people, and are looking to challenge your attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills in a way that exceeds even your own expectations, this could be the job for you!
Busser
Our bussers don't just clear and reset tables. They are actively engaged in the guest experience by assisting servers behind the scenes, providing warm interactions at the table, and doing what is needed to keep things running smoothly. This is a great position for learning the ins and outs of guest service and restaurant operations, while opening the door for advancement to other positions within the restaurant.
Kitchen Positions
Head Chef
Culinary prowess, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record of leadership that rallies the team to excellence and collaboration is a must for the Head Chef at Gray Willow. Must be proficient at executing line production and creating dishes that are elevated in flavor profiles and match the restaurant's menu concept. Must lead by example and continually work to control expenses and manage team productivity.
Line Cook
Passion for the process ( and this industry) along with experience working in a commercial kitchen could make you a great candidate to join our culinary team of professionals. Our full time Cooks boast a 5 day work week, giving them a higher quality of life outside of work. We also consider part time positions for those who just want to work weekends!
Utility / Dishwasher
Despite being an entry level position, we consider this position to be just as important as the other roles within the restaurant. Although experience is not required, we do insist that those considering this position bring a strong work ethic and ability to take on a multitude of tasks with a postitive attitude and commitment to excellence.
